A couple of these references are somewhat camoflaged which provides further interest.No. 1228 Euphonium Solo - The Saviour's Name (Erik Silfverberg)A setting of Jane Clarke's lovely melody set to familiar words, 'There is a name I love to hear'.No. 1229 (1) Carol Arrangement - While shepherds watched (David Rowsell)A four-verse setting of the 16th Century tune, 'Winchester Old' commonly associated with the carol, 'While shepherds watched their flocks by night'.No. 1229 (2) Song Arrangement - Time to be holy (Paul Sharman)This arrangement of George Cole Stebbins' tune was originally made for the 2010 World Youth Convention in Sweden, the theme of which was 'Time to be holy'.No. 1230 There is a redeemer (Kenneth Downie)Melody Green-Sievright's popular song, 'There is a redeemer' was first published in 1982, 30 years before the appearance of this new setting.

No. 1215 March - Merthyr Tydfil No.34 (Paul Sharman)This march was written at the request of Bandmaster Howard Roberts to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Merthyr Tydfil Corps, corps number 34 in The Salvation Army. The tunes used have obvious Welsh connections wit 'Cwm Rhonnda' and 'Aberystwyth' being featured. 'Aberystwyth' was written by Joseph Parry who lived in Merthyr Tydfil for a while.No. 1216 Mambo - Mighty God (Steven Ponsford)Based on words from Isaiah 9, 'Mighty God' is a song of worship and assurance by Chris Bowater and helen and Mark Johnson. This arrangement will afford bands the opportunity to engage the audience into a lively segment of praise.No. 1217 Song Setting - Jesus, I come (Michael Davis)A setting of George C Stebbins' beautiful melody 'Out of my bondage'.No. 1218 O rock, all ye faithful (William Gordon)The Christmas carol 'O come, all ye faithful' is arranged here in a 'rock' style and includes references to other well known Christmas carols.

The perfect Christmas concert finale!!! The Twelve Days of Christmas is known for being one of the most tedious pieces for any band to play - now the band get their own back! As the M.D starts to conduct the "Twelve Days Of Christmas", the band has other ideas. Throughout the piece, well-known carols are blasted out from all corners of the stage. This item is ideally suited for each band to add their own choreography. As the M.D fights to keep the front row playing all twelve days, the trombones stand to blast out Jingle Bells, the horns decide to join in and the back row then show their retaliation by giving a round of "Once In Royal David's City" - and the fun goes on. Eventually the M.D & front row finally loose their battle and give in at the end to a rousing line of "We Wish you a Merry Christmas". Fanfares, Jazz Waltz's and Christmas bedlam leave your audience in stitches and wanting more!!

Based on an old French carol, and inspired by such TV series as Downton Abbey and Pride and Prejudice, the arrangement aims to depict the servants of a well-to-do household preparing for the return of their Master and his family to enjoy Christmas at the Hall. As they go about their tasks, we hear appropriate well known carols interwoven with the main theme. Deck the Hall, Good King Wenceslas, The Wassail Song, The Holly and the Ivy and Oh Christmas Tree are all heard as the servants get into the swing of the season. The song is a glee written in the early 19th Century by Reginald Spofforth and usually sang at both Easter & Christmas, has recently seen its popularity grow across the nation. Sam Fisher has taken the lively 6/8 dance and created a concert march from the raw material that fits the more traditional brass band march format.
