This attractive Bossa Nova-style arrangement for vocal or flugel/cornet soloist with brass band has been made by Australian composer Sam Creamer. The key is suitable for male or female vocalists, or in the absence of a vocal soloist a part has been supplied for flugel horn or cornet soloist. A piano accompaniment that matches this band arrangement is also available here and may be used as an alternate accompaniment in the absence of a full band, or can be used simultaneously by a rhythm section alongside the brass band. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas has been a Christmas favourite to many since its first release, extensively featuring in Christmas movies, broadcasts and programming. (Howard Davis)An arrangement of an old Salvation Army song, 'Jesus came with peace to me, His strong arm was stretched to me, Then my burden took from me - My Saviour'.No.1226 Processional - Shine on us (James Wright adapted by Andrew Mackereth)This bolero-style setting of Michael W Smith's anthem was originally made for s wedding at Sheffield Citadel. It was subsequently adapted for use at the Belfast Temple Music School when players entered the arena in groups, through several entrances, playing from memory.

£14.95Crugybar (Cornet and Piano)
The traditional Welsh tune of Crugybar is most commonly associated with words by Howell Elvet Lewis which appear in the Baptist Hymn Book of 1962; 'The light of the morning is breaking, the shadows are passing away'. The Salvation Army Song Book of 1986 lists two further hymns that can be sung to the tune; 'I stand all bewildered with wonder and gaze on the ocean of love' ( W F Crafts) and 'When Jesus from Calvary called me, unfolding its meaning to me' (Will J Brand). This arrangement was made for Martyn Bryant, the long-serving principal cornetist of Bristol Easton Band of The Salvation Army.

£29.50All By Myself - Eric Carmen - Gavin Somerset
This famous power ballad was composed by Eric Carmen in 1975. The verse of the song borrows heavily from the 2nd movement of Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No.2. At the time of composition, Carmen believed that the Rachmainoff work was copyright free and in the public domain. It was only after the record had been issued that his mistake came to light. Carmen quickly came to an agreement with Rachmaninoff's estate to legalise the song so as not to infringe copyright. Rachmaninoff is now also creditied as the co-writer of the work, even though he died 32 years before the song was written! This moving piece, covered by greats such as Celine Dion & Frank Sinatra, lends itself perfectly for brass band and would fit into any concert program.
