Endlessly - William Elsom
This melodic Tenor Horn solo was composed for Kate Brown of the FulhamBand. With moving band parts and a tuneful, yet technical solo part, this piece allows the soloist to show off their high register and technical skills whilst maintaining entertainment value for the audience. Composer Gavin Somerset has revisited many of the ideas contained within the very popular work written for the inaugural BrassFestUK, The Spirit of Brass two years ago, to deliver once again, an uplifting original work for Brass Bands that will keep both players and audiences entertained. The piece opens with the work's heroic theme which has a genuine feel-good factor throughout, making this year's anthem a sure hit with all bands once again. NB. A Youth Band version is also available which works as a standalone item or alongside the senior band edition.

Fanfare & Funk - Sam Fisher
This original work for brass band is the perfect choice to open a concert of contest programme. At just over three minutes, the music is in two clear sections, depicting the contrasting styles of traditional fanfare and modern funk. After a flourishing fanfare opening, the Cornets and Trombones lead a verse of the opening motif, accompanied by a rhythmically diminished version of the same motif from the Euphoniums and Baritones. This ostinato then leads us into a great entertaining funk section, with each section of the band rising to their feet as the piece builds to an exciting finale that is sure to engage audiences of all ages!

Originally sang by Robin Williams in the 1992 animated film Aladdin, Friend Like Me is high octane fun for all the band to play as well as the soloist. This famous work Rimsky-Korsakov has been wonderfully arranged by Adrian Horn as a real showcase feature for quartet and brass band.
